This is a work I saw in the Musée de l’Orangerie when I traveled to France some time ago, in this video. The artist wants to reflect the history of South America. I found it very interesting after watching it. From the sound design to the picture design, it fully makes people feel the original and natural power. Gives me some ideas for my project, I can compare the future world with the original human natural world in the audio to highlight my theme.

Reflection
As far as my intentions go, I’m hoping that by working on this project, people won’t become overly dependent on electronics. Using a computer or smartphone is not required to help us keep track of all the information we encounter every day. Taking notes with a notepad and pen will make it easier for us to recall information and make us more quick. Instead than allowing technology to limit and control human beings, human beings should be allowed to use and develop technology. Additionally, environmental pollution is becoming a more serious problem, and there are currently many unexpected natural forest fires that are also destroying trees. In order to raise awareness of the state of the planet’s natural ecosystem, individuals must discover strategies to rescue it. By mimicking the sounds that some mechanised animals and plants may not be able to generate, I aim to satirise the environmental issues that people are currently facing and the condition that people may be in in the future. The work in this protests the idea that environmental concerns should be given top priority and that if people don’t pay attention to them now, they will suffer consequences later on.
I realised that the significance of secondary research is a really important factor. Learning more about a subject is the first step in deciding to work on a project about it. There are many excellent painters in the world, and you can view their work in advance to draw inspiration and learn from them as part of the vital secondary research. Since I want to remain in my comfort zone, I believe the project’s issue should be incredibly solid. I have to continually remind myself to push outside my comfort zone when working on this project because doing so will make life more fascinating and lively.
Experiments
This is an experiment I did based on a video of a squirrel I shot before. In this video, I put people in the eyes of the squirrel. I want to reflect the combination of humans and animals in the future world, and also show From the original sense in nature.
Intentions
In my opinion, the first reason for me to do this project is to break through myself and try the creation of electronic-style sound artwork that I have not touched before, so I chose to create with the theme of future fusion technology. Secondly, I want to do something interesting and show an imagined future world through this project. Use such a sound work to show a different world ruled by AI. People live in dungeons, robots are dancing, mutated animals and plants are talking and barking. As the result, I hope this work can use a black humorous way to tell everyone to protect the environment and not to be addicted to electronic products. It is human beings who drive technology forward instead of letting technology control and rule human beings.
Secondary Research
- Gallery Discovery – 180 Studios
- This is an exhibition I saw at the 180 Studios before. When I saw these two art works, I felt a sense of the future fusion in my mind. Also, that human beings in the future world have fallen into the abyss with the deterioration of the environment be shown at those two art works.
First Research
- Sketches
- During the process of doing the project, there will always be confusion and no ideas at the beginning, , and when I encounter this situation, I usually draw some random sketches first, so as to expand my thinking.
- As far as I can see, that I want to say that I could do a futuristic project about robots ruling the human world.

Reflection
As far as I’m aware, I once had some trepidation about working in a group. In a group context, I have a hard time interacting with others and find it uncomfortable. But as a result of this evaluation, I gradually regained my composure. Group assignments and team projects must first be accepted as a given. You always have the chance to work with others, no matter what you do. Second, conversing with others is enjoyable for oneself. Everyone can learn from the skills of others, become aware of their own shortcomings, and improve them.
Furthermore, it is undeniably true that the wisdom of one person is lower to the combined intelligence of two persons. When everyone discusses a subject together, they can exchange thoughts and discover information they had not previously considered. Furthermore, I learned what to do when I lack drive or a job, in addition to the skills I learned about teamwork. While working on this project, I used a variety of graphic visualisation strategies to keep myself motivated. For instance, when I’m not thinking clearly, I roam around and take additional pictures while making notes about interesting things and writing down random thoughts, images, and observations in my notebook. It significantly helps me come up with new ideas.
Additionally, another aspect is the importance of secondary research. The first step in deciding to perform a project on a particular topic is to educate yourself on it. There are a great number of talented artists in the world, and it is possible to view their works beforehand to learn from them and find inspiration as part of the crucial secondary research. In the end, I think the topic of the project is really strong because I want to stay in my comfort zone. When working on this project, I constantly have to remind myself to push above my comfort zone because doing so will make life more interesting and lively.
Process
During my spring vacation, I visited several European countries. When I strolled down their streets and watched people coming and going, I thought to myself that this is how life is. I eat breakfast first thing in the morning. After a hearty breakfast, head to the beach to soak up the rays and see the couples reclining on the sand conversing about love. As a result, I intend to add certain aspects from my daily life into the audio for this project.
Process
Recorded Audios
Collaborative Curation
Finally, I’d want to express my wish that we may utilise this initiative to encourage everyone to fearlessly step outside of their comfort zone, pursue their aspirations and goals, and not be afraid of unforeseen problems or increased pressure. Everything in life improves. After the topic is decided, things becomes a little smoother, and everyone can leave their comfort zone to complete their individual audio portion, and then debate the cover together.
