To begin with, because many of us come from different nations and have diverse cultural backgrounds, it appears to us that selecting a topic is not an easy task. Finally, after everyone has given it some thought, we settle on a matter or difficulty that we must all face, or an impediment that we will be better off if we overcome. The theme of getting out of one’s comfort zone then emerged.
Not only that, but because if a person have stayed in the comfort zone for a long time and have enjoyed a low-stress condition for a long time, the process of departing from the comfort zone will not be easy, and can even be described as challenging. So I intend to offer this audio using the lift as the major body. Life is like riding in a lift. You may become stuck on a specific floor and never be able to escape. It could go up nicely, or it could break down midway. But it was quickly repaired. I want to use the sensation of fusing reality and dreams to depict the process of a person breaking free from their comfort zone. In this operation, the lift remains the major body of the framework. Finally, I’d want to express my wish that we may utilise this initiative to encourage everyone to fearlessly step outside of their comfort zone, pursue their aspirations and goals, and not be afraid of unforeseen problems or increased pressure. Everything in life improves.

Research
- The Comfort Zone
“A person is said to be in their comfort zone when they feel safe, relaxed, and (perceive they are) in control of their environment while exhibiting low levels of stress and anxiety.
The definition provided by Bardwick for the phrase is “a behavioural state where a person operates in an anxiety-neutral position.” It’s “where our uncertainty, scarcity and vulnerability are minimised—where we believe we’ll have access to enough love, food, talent, time, and admiration,” according to Brené Brown. we believe we have some control over.” (Wikipedia)

WEEK 20
- The Artist Jamie Drouin
His works are sparse but highly concentrated. In his works, I feel the endless exploration of sound, sucking me as the listener like a black hole. These works freely combine new music, noise and electricity. Elements of acoustic improvisation.
- My Work
This week, I went to the forest to record some nature sounds and take some photos. I want to compare these photos and audio recordings. The birds’ calls sound free, but if people don’t take good care of the environment, these woods will disperse sooner or later, and we can’t understand the birds. Who knows that if they’re not happy.

WEEK 19
- Artist Statement
“It’s important to feel everything around you, just like hearing aesthetics is sublime in my heart. In this world full of light and shadow, the sound is pure and simple. Whenever you close your eyes and listen to how the world and things around you are working, I think, the world in your ears is full of countless rainbows.“

- First Draft
To be honest, when I was thinking about what theme to make, I didn’t have any ideas, and then I just drew some pictures and made a simple collage. Then I was inspired to do some themes related to the natural environment, or themes related to our own current situation. Many of us come from different countries, everyone is unique and vividness, but all of us may face some similar difficulties at past or in the future.
In the process of looking for ideas, I found that it is very helpful to spread my thinking like painting and present my ideas in a visual way in the process of the project.
